Dr. Michael Drzewiecki

Dr. Michael Drzewiecki is the Director of Clinical Neuroscience and partner at The Neurologic Wellness Institute, where he has served since 2016. He has a deep passion for helping patients who have “been everywhere else” and feel they’ve lost hope in their condition. By applying cutting-edge clinical neuroscience research and functional neurology therapies such as vestibular and oculomotor rehabilitation, sensory integration, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and advanced movement-based therapies, Dr. Mike provides innovative approaches to recovery for patients facing some of the most complex neurological challenges.
Dr. Mike has consulted nationally and internationally with physicians on their most difficult cases and has treated patients from around the world. He has earned the highest level of training in Functional Neurology, holding a Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology / Functional Neurology, and is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. In addition to clinical treatment, his work also includes performance training for professional, semi-professional, collegiate, and high school athletes, where he combines his expertise in neuroscience with his passion for human performance.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mike is a co-author of Foundations of Movement and eight published case studies in Frontiers in Neurology. He teaches Neurology 1 and Neurology 2 for the Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures program, and is a frequent presenter at professional conferences, including multiple years at the Life University Fall CE event and at the Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics Conference. He is dedicated to advancing the field of functional neurology through education, mentorship, and collaborative care.
Dr. Mike was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan–Flint with a degree in Business Administration and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic as well as a Master’s degree in Sport Health Science. Beyond his professional life, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys CrossFit, hockey, marathon running, and spending time with his wife, son, and their dog.
