Dr. Diana Albertin 

Affectionately known as “Dr. Annie”, Dr. Diana Albertin has harbored a deep-seated passion for healthcare since childhood. Born with a neurological disorder herself, she embarked on a lifelong journey to alleviate neurological issues and enhance overall quality of life for herself. Being introduced to Functional Neurology during Chiropractic School was a pivotal moment that aligned her personal experiences with her professional calling.

During her time at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Annie not only pursued her Chiropractic degree but also immersed herself in teaching Functional Neurology to fellow students through the school club. Her dedication culminated in earning both her Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) and her Chiropractic Neurology diplomate (DACNB) simultaneously. Her Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation certification (FABBIR) further demonstrated her commitment to mastering her craft.

Dr. Annie’s career flourished at the Carrick Brain Centers in Atlanta, GA, where she collaborated with esteemed colleagues under the guidance of Dr. Frederick Carrick. While there, she specialized in treating patients with diverse neurological and movement disorders, honing not just her clinical skills but also her ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to patients. Recognizing the significance of patient education, she ensured each individual grasped the intricacies of neurological rehabilitation and could seamlessly continue their personalized brain retraining journey beyond appointments.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Annie extends her expertise globally through phone consultations, guiding individuals to determine if an evaluation at the Neurologic Wellness Institute aligns with their needs. In her leisure time, she cherishes moments with her husband and three daughters, indulging in nature walks, reading, and embarking on adventures together.
