Dr. Kayla Ryan
DC, DACNB
Dr. Kayla Ryan was born and raised in Barrington, IL. She attended Indiana State University for her undergraduate studies where she was a division one golfer and majored in exercise science.
She completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. During her time at Life, she served as the president of the Functional Neurology Club helping students understand the true complexity and adaptability of the body and brain. She has spent hundreds of hours studying clinical neuroscience at the Carrick Institute.
Dr. Kayla fell in love with functional neurology after suffering from several concussions. These experiences enable her to better empathize and empower patients looking for answers and healing. Growing up, Dr. Kayla has always had a passion for helping others. From thousands of hours of volunteer work, to leading retreats to serve those less fortunate, Dr. Kayla has always strived to help those around her to the best of her abilities. Most importantly, she loves functional neurology because it gives patients hope in such uncertain times. Her passion has led her here and her compassion will continue to guide her with her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Kayla loves spending time in the sun, spending time with her family, and traveling when she can. She loves taking walks, reading, and listening to music.
