Ask Dr. Nick
On today’s episode, Dr. Nick talks about the benefits of mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for a variety of conditions. Mild HBOT uses a less percentage of oxygen than medical grade HBOT along with a slightly decreased pressure. It is designed to increase oxygen molecules that become dissolved in the plasma of the blood to get more oxygen to the body’s tissues. The more oxygen (within reason) that gets to the dysfunctional cells, the better the cells can fight off infections, repair damaged area, and function more efficiently. For this reason, there has been evidence that mild HBOT can improve conditions like metabolic syndrome, hypertension, type II diabetes, and Parkinson’s disease. Check out the video for more in depth information on the benefits of mild HBOT!
